The whole process was made easy from start to finish and we now enjoy our beautiful little house in the village where we have already made many friends. Amongst those friends we are pleased to count Joe, Carmelo and Alfonso at myhouse. We certainly couldn’t recommend them more highly."

I visited Cianciana for the first time in 2007 and fell in love with the peaceful charm of the place and the welcoming warmth of the Ciancianese people. My son''''s grandparents (neither of them Italians) had bought a house a few years before and it was my first time to take him there. He and his father had visited the summer previous and returned with these crazy stories of houses at incredible prices, so when I came I asked my family if they would call their realtor and take me house hunting. My daughter and I visited Sicily in Jan this year hoping to look at some investment properties. We had seen several for sale in Cianciana on the My House website and we made an appoitment to view. We were rather apprehensive - we speak no italian and didn't know what to expect. Sicily is a long way from France (where we live!). The moment we arrived at the My House office we were made welcome."

Last year we bought a house in Cianciana via the real estate agency MyHouse. Everything was done very well and in a professional and serious manner in the presence of the notary, translators and witnesses."

by Davide Mocci The documentary "La valle del Platani" is set in Sicily and takes us to know the landscapes of the "middle ground" between the two seas of the island, that of Palermo and that of Agrigento, a land capable of thrilling and surprising . We will explore the path of the Platani river as it crosses very different landscapes and preserves the millenary history of the inhabitants, customs and traditions especially linked to the nature of the Agrigento area, with the mountains in the hinterland and the long beaches on the coast. The story takes us into the world of pistachios, from spring to the threshold of autumn, from the pollination of the plants to the evocative harvesting and processing that involves the entire town of San Biagio Platani for a few months. The film shows above all the story of the men who with great determination show us the sacrifices and passions that still today they perform in the heart of this land, where the Platani river flows and embraces its valley, which we could call the valley of the "fastuche", so they call the pistachios in this land to be discovered.
